This is an interview test with my Canon 5d Mk11
This was a fairly simple set up, Canon 5d Mk11, with a 24mm-70mm zoom, recording the audio to a seperate compact flash, syncing with a hand clap, which was very easy to do in post.
It was shot at ISO 800, and you can see a little noise in the picture.
I have been using the camera now for a while and have used it recently on a corporate job in Australia, I was shooting 25p on my Sony HDW750 as the main camera, but the Canon 5d Mk11 (now shooting 25p and 24p) proved itself getting tricky shots at an airport where I couldn’t use a full size camera, the footage was stunning.
This is the Canon 5d Mk11 kit that I have so far, if you click on the image you can see a bigger picture.
Including a range of lenses and a Zacuto Viewfinder which magnifies the image for precision focusing.
This is a Music Promo that I shot on the Canon 5d Mk11 30p whilst I was in New York and Boston shooting a corporate promo. I shot the footage as a kind of roadtrip and cut it using Final Cut, check out the ‘dude’ taxi driver at the start of the clip.
